Lasting Impact or Favorite Memory: "Being a part of the first lacrosse team at Agnes Scott meant more to me than I thought possible. Together, we grew not only as a team, but as a sisterhood. Each of us developed the strength and perseverance necessary to excel on the field and in the classroom.
As a team member, I became not just a better athlete, but a better person, student, and leader. This personal development truly helped me in pursuing my dreams of going to medical school. In addition, being on the team has given me the confidence to know that I can conquer any obstacle I face.
At Agnes Scott, you are encouraged to take the lessons you learn on the field and apply them in the classroom, in extracurriculars, and in life. The ability to be involved around campus, as well as being a scholar athlete, gives you a huge advantage when starting in the job market or applying to grad school.”
