Perchaluk Garners All-Conference Honor

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.—Junior forward Zoey Perchaluk (Fort Erie, Ont.) was named to the USA South West Division Second Team on Thursday, as announced by the conference and Commissioner Tom Hart. Perchaluk was Agnes Scott's lone representative on a squad dominated by the top three teams in the West. Nia Coates (Pooler, Ga.) was the Scottie named to the conference All-Sportsmanship team.

Perchaluk was a dynamic presence for the Scotties at the top of the formation. The junior scored seven goals and added six more assists—both team highs—to help bring alive an offense that struggled to find the net at the beginning of the season. Agnes Scott's offense seemed to get better with each passing match and Perchaluk's ability to come up with some crafty was a huge reason why.

This is Perchaluk's second conference award after being named as the Great South Rookie of the Year before Agnes changed conferences in 2015. She will also expect to be named to the All-Conference Academic team for the third consecutive season.

Coates had three goals and two assists from her spot on the right wing this season, while starting 17 of Agnes Scott's 18 games in 2017.

The Scotties saw their season come to a close on Wednesday at fourth-seeded Huntingdon, 2-1, in the USA South first round.
