DECATUR, Ga. - The Agnes Scott volleyball team saw their three-game winning streak stopped by a red hot Covenant Scots team, who saw their own win streak stretch to 7 games with the 3-0 win over the Scotties (6-11). The Scots (16-6) used a balanced attack for the (25-10, 25-12, 25-8) win.
The Scots scored early and often, as they continued the momentum they have had as of late, winning their 21 sets played. The Scotties were unable to mount a unified attack on the evening, finishing the evening with a season-low 11 kills on the night. Shelli Sherman led the Scotties defensively, registering 11 digs.
Agnes Scott will have some time to regroup before returning to the court on October 16 when they travel to face Huntingdon College.
