WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Agnes Scott College volleyball team used a balanced attack to advance to the semifinals of the Great South Athletic Conference tournament, downing Maine-Presque Isle in straight sets (25-10, 25-13, 25-15).
The first set saw the Scotties (9-17) race out to an 8-0 lead behind the serving of senior libero Shelli Sherman, and they never looked back against the Owls (2-24).
