Scotties Race Past Brewton Parker, 3-0

DECATUR, Ga. - The Agnes Scott College volleyball team continued to show improvement this season, downing Brewton Parker in a one-sided affair, 3-0 (25-8, 25-18, 25-23).  It marks another moment of progress for the program, as the two teams faced off earlier in the season, which was won by the Scotties in 5 sets.

In the match, the Scotties (8-12) were led offensively by season-leader Paige Heck, who finished with 15 kills and a remarkable .538 hitting percentage.  Bonnie Derks chipped in with 10 kills, while sophomore setter Anna Tomkins continued to rack up assists, finishing with 28 for the match.  On defense, libero Bella Kammerer led the way with 12 digs.

The Scotties will head into the weekend having won two of their last three matches, as they travel to Salem College with an opportunity to clinch the GSAC regular season title.  The Scotties and Spirits will face off at noon on Saturday, October 24.
